Stonemason's The Gothic Library question re Camera/Render 8

When I render cam/render setting 8 the light totally washes out the scene. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks

I will load it up and have a look for you. Wil post the results of what I find shortly.

Okay - loaded it up and got the same glare you did. The bloom settings of 1.0/1000/1.0 seem very high. If you turn bloom off you wil see that the glare totally clears (leaving it a bit dark). I would try contact Stonemason via the ticket system (there is an option to ask the verndor questions) to see if the nloom settings are correct. The scene icon pic does not have it anywhere near that bright.
I hope that helps.

Thank you very much for the advice. I was hoping it was not just me. I think I will play with the bloom a little first. I tried Light Manager and lowering the overall setting from 100 to 5%. It helped a little but does not look quite like the promo pick.
Thanks again.
No, Stonemason seems to go a bit heavy on the bloom in a couple of his pieces. Gothic Library is a favorite as it was one of the first I migrated over to Lightwave. I wasn't overly concerned with what he did as I was going to change it all anyway. Newtek had just changed is rendering, surfacing, etc. so a decent test subject. I want to go back & revisit it now I've learned a ton more with the new capabilities.
Here's a sample though:
That looks great!
