All Primitives are loading with a surface

Not sure how this happened. I placed a glass shader on a plane I had loaded. Somehow this has become a default and all primitives now load with a glass surface. How can I change this back to the default.

    Have the default values changed? If so reisntalling the Default Resources should resolve it. There has been a chnage since older versions, newly created primitives (and in 4.11 imported OBJs) now get the Iray Uber Base shader if Iray was the render engien at the time of creation/import.
