the feature i really need is the remove background noise.

    my place has noisy refridgerator.

the stores don't plug in the refrigerators, can't hear them before buying.

Have you tried using Audacity to fix it?

This guy does a great job explaining:

I have been watching videos about the Nord Mellotron, the first analogue sampler synth

it had a curtain of magnetic tape strips with 3 tracks for each key that were cranked up past a playhead by a motor with a camshaft until you ran out of tape holding the note so probably no good for playing sustained chorals with ties spanning several bars.

Strawberry Fields by the Beatles prob thd best known song showcasing it.

Was amazed all the stadium rock bands like Yes etc used it too, here I was thinking it was all Fairlignts and Moogs.

    Oooh free VST https://www.kvraudio.com/product/redtron_400_by_artifake_labs

  • I miss the days when people actually twiddled their knobs and plugged in patch cables while playing their keyboards instead of these "producers " using digital workstations then posing infront of an array of stuff fist punching with headphones and turntables they spin that are likely not even plugged in for their live performances
