Changed Computers

I upgraded my computer to a new 8 core system and can't wait to render something, but I'm anal and my files aren't showing up in Daz or Carrara. I used the Windows transfer utility and everything is where it should be.

I installed Carrara and Daz on the new system. I still need to reinstall my plugins. But where is the file(s) that catagorized where all my runtimes and catagorizing I had did on the old system is, so I can move it over to the new one? I don't want to to all that again.

    did you map the new location in DS. Add it to your content manager

    To get your categories, on the old computer go to Content Library > options menu (rectangle with horizontal lines in the upper corner) > Content DB Maintenance > Export User Data. That will create a file with your categories in Runtime\Support
    On the new computer, Content DB Maintenance > Re-Import Metadata will let you reimport your user data as well.
    If you have a lot of categorized content it can take a long time to export and import, so be patient if it doesn't appear to be doing anything.
