third party content not showing up after transfer to external drive

I recently transferred my Daz library from my PC to an external hard drive, because I was running low on space on my PC. I haven't noticed any problems with content I downloaded from daz3d.com, but all my 3rd  party stuff hasn't shown up in my content library. I've checked the files on the drive and the third party content is all there, but for some reason, it won't show up in Daz directly. Does anybody know what's going on or how to solve this issue?

    Did you change the preferences in DS to tell it where your content is now?

    use the content directory manager to tell if where it is. If it's in the same folders as the daz stuff, refresh the folders?
