Problems installing Look at My Hair (LAMH) - solved

I have the full version of LAMH and a serial number.

I wanted to have my DIM install it, however it is not listed.

So, I downloaded it.  It is an executible file.  Yep...Not a zip with baby files in it!!!

I began to install it and wanted to know where it is being installed.  The location was:  DAZ 3D\Installed Content\LAMH for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)

which is not a complete location.

So, I tried to install to my main content location:  C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library

Nothing under Window Panes or Help-About Installed Plugins

Then tried installing in Daz Program files:  C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\plugins

Nothing again.

So, I got fairly nosey!!!  I installed it to a dummy file just to see what was in it.  The only thing in the dummy file was a shortcut to the uninstall file.

As I am typing this, I think the executible file is bad....hum...I might have to file a ticket.  What do ya'll think?

I try not to bother anyone and have done pretty well....being the newbie that I am.  I can usually find any answer by Googling "Daz Studio how do you..."

Not this time!!  Thank you to anyone who will help :)

    I went to my products one more time at Daz3d.

    Went to LAMH and clicked "Download and install.'

    DIM still could not find it, so I manually looked down the list of my thousands of products in the DIM.

    It was there under LAMH....I guess the shortcut was looking for the full name!!!!

    So, all is well.  No need to answer this!!!  Thank you, everyone!!!

    I was having this issue as well, but I couldn't get it to download and install (link didn't do anything for me).  It looks like the product page has the following:  * Requires latest version of Install Manager.  The Install Manager is not installed by default with the 2021 version of Daz Studio 4.15 (as far as I recall). I had assumed this was DazCentral app I have to intall stuff from the store, but it is not. Once you install the Daz Install Manager you can install this player. :-)

    LAMH is missing on the Mac version, I'm fighting this at present. 1.4.0.80
