dforce animation

i am having a bit of trouble animating some clothing using dforce.
i have my figures movements animated.
i'd like to have the clothing drape while she moves.
i've tried setting frames to simulate to "animated (use timeline playrange) so it does all frames, but its not. it's doing the first 8, then stays on frame 8 and carries on simulating the timeline, without my figure being animated.
if i stop, and play my animation, the animation is complete how i made it. its just not simulating dforce as i thpught it would.
am i missing something or is there a "dForce for animation" tutorial i should look for

How did you animate - by keyframes in the Timeline pane, or using AniBlocks in the AniMate pane?
it was with an aniblock
Try baking the AniBlock to the Timeline, if you can (I'm not sure if that option requires the full AniMate 2 or if it works in AniMate Lite).
Pretty sure you can do it in lite, but the option doesn't appear anywhere - it's a right-click IIRC (correct me if I'm wrong).

ETA: Do a search for "bake":

Yup, you need to rightclick in the gray field in the animate pane;)
