Loading figures take 15 minutes or more, can any look at my log file

i've tried to figure this out for over a week and i can't find an answer.

this all happened after did a clean install of windows 10 and reinstalled all my software. i saved all my daz libraries except for the "People" one - i thought it be a good idea to install and clean up my files. that was a mistake.

since installing my genesis figueres, it take 15-20 minuets to load and almost as long to save.

if any of you can take a look at my log file and offer any suggestion, i would really appreiciate it.

<wince> What exactly do you mean by "clean up"? Other people have done this, and got themselves into such a hideous mess they've usually had to uninstall/reinstall a lot of stuff. There are some file types (and where DAZ|Studio expects to find them) that don't seem to be important, but they really, really are.

After a look at your log file, there might also be a content database issue. Did you have any error messages while reinstalling the D|S program (not content or plugins)?

i don't remember seeing any error messages when reinstalling.

about the content database, could i rebuild it in some way?

There's a set of database controls available on the Content Library pane Options button (top left corner, looks a bit like a hamburger).
Open the Options menu, and select "Content DB Maintenance".

At this point, there's one vital question; have you added non-DAZ content to the Smart Content, or set up your own Categories? This is your user data, and must be saved before you wipe the database. Select "Export User Data" and <Accept>.

After the user data is saved, go back to the same database maintenance dialog, select "Reset Database" and <Accept>. Cross fingers, call on $DEITY, or knock on wood as appropriate. Your database is now pining for the fjords.

To get it all back, call up the dialog again, this time select "Re-Import Metadata". I think there's an option in there somewhere to add in your user data if you had any. Note that this can take a while if you have a lot of content.

    Good luck.

Small oops on the location of the Options buttons (there's one in every pane in DAZ|Studio) — it is of course in the top right corner.  <headdesk>

It's on the tab side - if the pane is docked on the right it will be top-left.

Not on my UI, I can't read sideways without getting a crick in my neck, so I've always used the "tabs at top" setting.
