How do I use "La Femme - Another Look MATs" in Daz studio?

I gave "La Femme - Another Look MATs" (and its expansion) a go in Daz Studio and I think I've successfully installed them too (I can see them in the menu and it lets me attempt to load them), but they don't really work so I'm not 100% sure that I could really do it. The skins won't load at all and only parts of the makeups load in.

This is the first time I've ever had a problem using Poser stuff in Daz. Figures, hairs, textures, etc. just work after a simple manual installation. Why is it different this time? What else needs to be done to make it work?

Those are some really cool skins.

"Figures, hairs, textures, etc. just work"

Well, your experience there, especially when it comes to figures, must be limited to legacy figures, since the Poser figures commonly referred to as G2 (meaning Generation 2 - nothing to do with DAZ genesis or DAZ generation figures) onwards use a weight-mapped rigging system that is not compatible with DAZ Studio and they might load but will definitely not work correctly. LaFemme uses Poser weight mapping and so it will not work properly in DAZ Studio, unless you are prepared to re-rig the figure. Since LaFemme itself will not work properly in DAZ Studio, the fact that the mats won't would seem immaterial, but maybe I'm missing something. Poser legacy materials, as you say, can generally be made to work in DAZ Studio with some tweaking in the Surfaces tab, but these LaFemme mats might be optimized for Superfly, so converting to Iray might be more problematic.

Again, unless you have discovered some way of actually using LaFemme in DAZ Studio, I'm not certain I understand why you are trying to use the mats.
