Hello in big scenes such as urban spawl2 is it possible to move a character to different areas easier other than haven to use the xyz sliders?

You can type guesstimates in instead of scrolling, if there are cameras in place you can copy their settings (ctrl c) and apply them to the figure (ctrl-v) and then adjust from there or you can save a series of pose presets/poses for a prop placed at convenient way marks, then apply the pose to a figure or prop to get it in roughly the right area.
Thanks ill give those tips a try!!
I usually place small cubes near the area where I set up my cameras, which can be set invisible for renders, and use those to copy/paste the translation info- to move the character figures to the location. If you name the cubes with some identifiable location marker, you can have a series of them saved with the environment set for future use.
For large sets I set up several NODES in areas I will use often. Name the Node as you like. I then use the Window>Panes(Tab)>Align tool to move my loaded figures to the needed node. I can then just select my Figure and Center my camera on the figure. The Node will not render and needs no extra steps to be Render ready.
As FirstBaston says you can save many configurations for later load and use.
all tips helped me alot thanks!!
If you use nulls (Create>New Null) rather than cubes they won't get in the way at all, though cubes can be set not to render via the Parameters pane in the Display group.
Greetings,
I use point lights, because you can create a point light at the Perspective View location trivially, and then I use the Align tab to Align Centers to move my character to the light. I'd use a null, which can also be created at the Perspective View location, but it seems harder to see and manipulate a null than a point light.
