Hey, what's the best way to export DAZ-stuff to Maya or C4D?

Normally I use Carrara, but I want to work on a proyect with a friend that uses 3D-programs in a "professional" way.

If you are working with ''A friend'' he would have to have purchased the same DAZ 3D items as well. You are not allowed to redstribute DAZ 3D products in any form.

You would need to export in a format that the programs import. I'm guessing FBX or OBJ.

When exporting OBJ be sure to check the Write Material Library. This will give you two files with the same name but different extensions, .obj and .mtl. Some programs when loading the obj will automatically also load the .mtl. Some programs (Sketchfab I know) will expect a zip file with the two tiles included.

Will either of these formats allow the file to leave the same way it left (rigged, etc) I dontt hink obj will
