What program for landscaping/ exterior buildings?

Hi, i'm a bit confused about, which program to use in combination with Daz Studio. I do characters models and poses in Daz Studio but want to make the environment/landscape/forest and have my character pose in that.

People use pretty much every modeller there is for content creation (differnt people use different applications, not everyone uses them all) so it's pretty much down to what you feel comfortable with/can afford and possibly which specific features you need. As long as you can get a UV mapped OBJ out it should be fine.
