Hi all
I've search high and low for DAZ to iClone and vise versa but its seems not so clear cut.
Anyone here used both? I mean create DAZ models and then import to iClone, do animations or changes and then back into DAZ or in my case I would like to take my DAZ models into iClone do animations and create the animation in iclone... I would also like to export the assets in DAZ along with the models.
What is the best way... I find DAZ animate not sufficient or clear cut to use and would like to try iClone instead.
Thx

don't think anyone goes back into DAZ studio other than via BVH animations as DS has limited import abilities
you can only import iMotions as BVH into DS on the figure it's exported from in 3DX not facial animation
well I dont have to go back into DAZ once i have created the animations... but for immersion effect i will need to do teh animations inside an asset that is also from DAZ. Say for instance i have two model in DAZ inside a room lying on a bed, i would want to completely export that whole scene into iClone then do the animation in iClone and render.
What im trying ot achieve my question really i guess is is this easy or lots of hoops ?
exporting to iClone not hard, you can certainly animate and render everything there
just don't bother trying to get it back into DAZ studio unless just a BVH motion
Hi
in answer to your very specific question about using Daz Studio content in an external program, you need the iclone Character creator 3 application from reallusion as well as Iclone.
