Genesis 1 "Eyes Closed" Pose Distortion

Greetings! I just downloaded the latest Studio release (4.6.1.33) and now whenever I use the "Eyes Closed" pose on any of my Genesis 1 figures, I get a freaky distortion of the morph. Am I the only one experiencing this? Is there a way to fix it or do my characters just have to stay awake from now on?

Thanks!
Ian

That looks as if the limits have somehow been turned off on the actual eye close morphs - which are hidden properties on the root Genesis. Have you edited the settings, as far as you know?

Thanks for the reply Richard! Nope, didn't change anything. How would I access said hidden properties?

Something has definitely gone wrong with the model. I just tested the Genesis 1 in DS4.6.1.33 and it works on my PC.

EDIT: Parameters Tab Mini menu set to Show Hidden.

I'm using a Mac, not sure if that could make a difference or not...

See! Jaderail's Genesis looks so happy and peaceful! My guy looks like he just took some bad LSD!

Should not mater the figure should still work properly. I edited my upper post so you could check the Parameters for hidden issues.

I have "show hidden" checked on the Parameters menu, but I can't see anything unusual. Not sure what I'd even be looking for really.

Make sure you have Genesis selected, then click on All in the Parameters pane on the left and type Eyes Closed into the filter box. Now click the gear on either of the sliders that should be showing and select Parameter Settings from the menu - in the dialogue box that opens is Use Limits checked?

when I use head poze controller "close eyes" ,If it happen,
    I may check these,

    1. load default genesis.duf from smart content tab.

    2. go to parameter tab (not pozing tab) , then as mentioned above,
R click on the parameter tab>check on show hide properties ,to see all properties.

3 select genesis head. then Poze controlls>head>eyes>
use "close eyes". check the limits of this controller too.
    (not hidden morph)

this"close eyes". controller must have ERC for "right eye close", and "left eye close". too.

    click Currently used.

there should be only three properties. all these three are poze controller
which assigned as genesis head node parameter.

    A. Eyes closed (which I cahnged value )
B left eyes closed, C,right eyes closed

I will check these poze controller properties by clicking little gear, one by one.
then see limits and current value. (limits yes, -1 to 1,
current value should be 1.0, default value should be 0)

if I can not find no other properties, as currently used,
and all three controller value and setting have no problem,
    next step,,, select genesis root.

5 then click Currently used again (keep the eye close poze) (in parameter tab, not pozing tab)

if all morphs and parameters are correct, there should be only two hidden properties.
these two are hidden morph which assigned genesis root node.
but, labelled as same as head poze controllers.

A Eyes closed left, B Eyes closed right.

I will check these parameter setting again (click right small gear of the parameter)
    it show actuall parameter name.

    PHMEyesclosedL and PHMEyesclosedR.
if I have changed limits or default value, without intention before,,,

Or I may find another parameter,,,, then it cause problem. as this case, it is wrong ERC setting morph.
On that case, I may need to correct ERC,, or remove the MCM from data directory.

Kitakoredaz: That totally worked! Thanks so much for the step by step instructions. When I went to the Genesis root level and investigated, I found a bunch of Eyes Closed morphs hanging around there from the David 3 package which I thought had been uninstalled. Once I deleted those from my Library, the eyes now close without distortion. Thanks again, my Genesis characters are now sleeping peacefully!
