Slow performance with two 2080rtx

Hello guys...recentlyi installed 2 2080 rtx (one of them is ti) and while i was expecting really amazing performance the opposite happened... in another computer with 1 1080ti when im loading a character while im moving around camera i can see live the textures on it on iray... in my pc ( which is a powerfull one 64 g of ram etch) when im moving around the character is goes white ( preview without textures) and after a sec it loads textures etc... do you know why this is happening! I have latest nvidia studio drivers in my computer...

Everyone says they have the latest Nvidia drivers, but that is never clear. Better to specifically state the driver version. Also the Studio version you are using. The Studio versions 4.11 require a minimum Nvidia driver of 418.81. There have been some reports of the Nvidia 430 series drivers not allowing GPU rendering. Also, did you get the drivers direct from Nvidia? If they came from Windows, they're not the right drivers.

You could also check the Studio Log (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File) to see what messaagess it has for the renders.

Nothing strikes me as out of place, though I'm not clear why they would have different frame buffer sizes..

Not specifically, there have been a host of threads w/ RTX render issues. The first several drivers for the RTX wouldn't allow GPU renders for Iray. IIRC, similar issues have been suggested for the 430 drivers. Nevertheless, it takes very little time to change drivers. If you are using Windows 10, you may have had a "stealth" GPU driver update and realize it.

The initial issue was that Iray did not support the 20x0 cards. The version in the 4.11.x.x betas, and now in the 4.11.0.363 release version, does support the cards but has a minimum driver requirement. The RTX features themselves are not yet supported (at least n a publicly available version of DS - I gather then new version listed in the change log will use RTX features).
