Changes in aniblocks don't work(?)

I have a walking figure and I want to change something, e.g. twist the head a little bit or make him/her smile.

I can modify the figure, but when hitting play, these modification are gone.

What did I do wrong? How can I change my character "within" the aniblock preset animation?

Try using the pose controls. Select your character's head, in the parameters pane you should find the pose controls for the head, like expressions and twist/bend head.

you did not say f you have the full version of animate2 or not . but if you do have the full version make a sub track add a emptry aniiblock double click it to expose the keyframes and add your custom movements to the blank aniblock .

when done and are happy with the results rightclick the timeline and bake the 2 aniblocks to the timeline to make one, and then you can resave the motion as a new aniblock. But.. and its a big butt  you must have the full licensed version of animate2 to be able to add subtracks

I posted a quick demo for you to go by
