Questions about whats reported when IRAY rendering

I look at my log file now and then to see what is reported when I render a scene in IRAY. In my current scene I see 1.00638 GB reported for textures and 2.37606 GB for lights. I also see "PTX code (208 KiB) for sm6" which I have no idea what this is.
My first question is why so much GPU memory used for lights" I really don't have that many light in the scene.
Second question: What is this "PTX code (208 KiB) for sm61"??
Comments
I would suspect the light usage is for the HDRI map.
PTEX is a way of applying textures to a model without UVing, and allowing detailed areas to get more resolution than less detailed. It's supported by DS, but not widely used since the main advantage (varying pixel density) is really useful only within a closed pipeline, where the person texturing knows which areas are going to reuire detail in the final shots and which aren't. I'm not certain that that is what the reference means, and I don't know what sm61 is, but it's the only bell that's ringing.
I don't have a HDRI map in the scene.
That line appears for every render. It has nothing to do with HDRI. I've never been able to find out what sm6 is and have spent quite a bit of time searching.
Thank you.
That makes sense, I have 2 GPU cards, one is a GTX 1070 and the other is a GTX 2080.
It would be interesting to see if the CUDA version changes to 'sm75' if you switch the 1070 off.
