Selecting parts of a geometry shell

Hey everyone,

I've recently discovered geometry shells and I want to use them in combination with the Ultrascatter tool.

I've created a shell around my model (A G8 model) and I want to scatter my object on the characters hand only. I've turned OFF the parts of the shell in parameter but when I scatter, it scatters my object all across the shell.

Can anyone give me some advice ? Can I create a geometry shell around a specific body part ?

  • ultra scatter advanced: The option to limit to a particular node is under the Advanced tab>limit scatter to.

    Ultra scatter pro:limit scatter is on the initial screen.

     

    As far as creating a shell around a specific body part, NO, it is a geometric copy of the entire mesh selected.
