Shopping Cart Issues

I have a problem regarding the shopping Cart.
When I add a product while not logged in, then log in, the cart is empt.
When I try to add the same article again, it gives me the error of "you can only purchase one of this".
If I add another article, the first article becomes visible again.
I know that I can make my missing article "visible" again by adding the second article, but honestly, it's kind of annoying.

This error only happens when I have not logged into the website before.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

Putting something into the cart when you are not fully logged in to the store does tend to confuse the software a little. Even if you are logged in to the forums, you may not be logged in to the store.

The quickest way to solve this is to add another item to the cart once you are logged in. View your cart and you should now see the original item(s) there, so now you can remove the item you don't want and go the checkout.

Yes, I know the workaround. :-)
Since that error only shows up in a certain constellation (namely, when you haven't logged into the site before on that day), I was curious if it can be fixed. :-)
But maybe I ought to bug the support about this, not the forum, methinks. ;-)

This actually happens in lots of different ways, I have had it happen to me on occasion, and I am always permanently logged in to DAZ 3D forums. The store log in does time out after a certain length of time, so it can happen at any time. DAZ 3D are aware of it happening.

The solution really is to make sure that you are fully logged in to the store before you start shopping. If in doubt, log out and then log in again. If you are not logged in then the store software doesn't know which cart to put the items in. As soon as you log in and then put another item in the cart, then everything gets int to sync and you can proceed from there.

I find this is far better than some other on line stores that I visit, when if I have forgotten to login before going to the store I find that my cart is empty when I do log in and I have to go back and visit the store to refill my cart. This is stores that sell physical products as well as stores that sell downloadable products.

    Well, that's true.
I still hope that they will find the bug someday. :-)
