Dual GPU without SLI

I have two graphics cards, one low end and one a bit better. (GTX 1050 and GTX 1650) My motherboard is a micro atx and can't fit two GPUs. Later, I plan to have dual GPUs with SLI, so I'm going to get a better motherboard. My question is will daz support dual, NON-SLI GPUs? Will it be an improvement or will it cause issues?

Iray does not use SLI and Nvidia says SLI with Iray can cause problems.

Well then. All I need (For now) is a new motherboard.

Anyway SLI requires two identical GPU's and has never been enabled for cards as low as the 1050 and 1650. The 1050 doesn't have the SLI connector and the 1650 doesn't have the newer Nvlink connector.

  • I have i m-atx motherboard with 2 slots for gpu.

i have one gtx1080ti and one rtx2080ti installed without sli.

it works perfect when render iray without sli.
