Missing deltas on CR2 figures in DS4 and up - a solution to rescue the scene

If you get the message "some assets are missing" during loading a file with a cr2 figure like v4.2 and your figure looks quite different (friendly said) than normal don`t give up and think the scene is lost.

here is how I can fix such a problem:

1. If the message "some deltas are missing" appears: click okay

the scene opens and the appearing figure looks quite different than normal

2. Do nothing on the figure except: Inject all morphs (base,morphs++,elite and so on) manually to the figure

3. Do not zero the figure, do not restore the figure, do not memorize the figure

4. Leave the scene without saving even the figure looks quite different already DO NOT SAVE THE SCENE

5. Load the scene new

The scene now should load without any error-message and the appearing figure should look normal

6. Now save the scene

From now on this scene should allways open without any error message or lost deltas on the figure until you inject new character morphs to it.
