Dimesion Theory's Tiler Shader Help needed

Does anyone know how you are supposed to use this Shader Tiler? No help file so I haven't a clue as to what to do.

I've not had time to give it a serious look yet, but it seems to let you tile each texture element to whatever scale you want without forcing that same adjustment onto the other texture elements (diffuse, bump, displacement, normal, opacity alphas etc.)
An example I can think of is maybe you've got the model of a sci-fi building that uses an ambient map to simulate lights on specific parts of the surface but you want to adjust the size of the brickwork... normally, you'd have to sacrifice the ambient map because it would get tiled to the same scale as the new brickwork, throwing the lightmap out of whack.
...but with Tiler Shader, you can choose exactly which map to tile at one scale, and have other maps tiled at completely different scales.
I hope that makes sense. I'll try to do some examples, but probably not before tomorrow, I've got other stuff I'm working on at the moment.
Oh, just to make sure you know what to look for - when you apply Tiler Shader to a surface, it changes the surface tabs, one of the new ones being "Tiler" which is the place where each map can be independently tiled to suit. Obviously, there are other new things it adds, but I'd really need to try them out first instead of speculating too much.
Thanks Jabba, any help would be appreciated.
...will be keeping an eye on this as well.
Popping in to watch as well, love the promo screenshots for this, really hope I can understand how to use it :) -Cathy
I've just done a quickie "first look" livestream, probably as quick and easy for me to do as typing up a summary about it...

hope that helps ;-)
...thank you, very helpful.
This looks like it could work extremely well with the Polygon Selection tool (I use that a lot to create entirely new material zones).
Good video Jabba. Nice desktop wallpaper too.
Thanks for posting it.
Cheery bye!
I just bought it because it's a DimensionTheory product and it looks useful. I only understood the transparency map thing with the grass and fur and such. Otherwise, I haven't downloaded it yet to see what it does :p
it has solved a big problem I had where I wanted to tile a texture to a surface under overall control of an opacity map but couldn't because the opacity map applied to every individual tile rather than the overall surface
here is an example of some olde cloth tiled (5x5) to a vest which has been cut away using an opacity map tiled 1x1
Thanks Jabba.
Thanks for that jabba.
Jabba 101 Thanks for the useful video. Very cool shirt shader adjustment, luxgabu
