New Item (Marionette Skirt) Texture/Shader Issue

I bought and installed the Marionette Outfit for Genesis 3 Females but the skirt is only displaying white. I've not fiddled with the settings. I've tried restarting Daz multiple times and tried different models.
How do I fix this?

Have you tried rendering it? It may use complex surface settings which wouldn't show in preview mode.
Yes. I've tried several times (multiple figures) but no luck.
Clearly it is punishing me for spending too much money I'm sure of it.
Your screenshot is showing the material settings for the ruffles, which seem to render ok.
If you could post a screenshot of the settings for the part that renders white maybe we can find more clues to what's wrong :)
This issue woke me up 3 hours early! (Well... something woke me up. I'll blame this.)
I don't think the ruffles are rendering correctly. The whole skirt seems to be blown out. I've tried a few things but haven't found anything that corrects it close to the images on the product page.
I've attached the waist front settings, prerender, and full render of the area.
It loads without materials, applying the Iray preset tones it down and I was able to tint it a bit in the surfaces pane (just adjusting the base colour)
I applied the Iray presets. I've fiddle with it all last night and all this morning. It seems to me that the item ought to look like the picture used to sell it... "out of the box".
No issues for me. Select the item, then double click the desired material setting.
Here's a viewport screenshot and the render.
I only have the base texture. I thought about getting that one too but budget. I'll just pout and maybe put in a ticket. I really adore the outfit. I'd wear that in real life. Well maybe not the boots. I have cuter boots in my closet.
Then I went and bought the other textures just now... I don't know if the original works but the new textures definitely do.
I notice your render appears to be through the Perspective View - are you sure the blowout isn't just a headlamp?
I'm fairly certain I didn't have headlamp on. But once I'm done with my render I'll go back and check again. I would have expected the whole outfit to be blown out, not just the skirt.
I haven't checked the default texture since I bought the additional textures. (I blame fastbike1 for enticing me to spend more money.) tsk tsk... I'll try the original again though and compare the settings on the additional textures with the original.
I'm still not able to get the original textures to render with IRAY. The additional sets worked fine right away (see gallery/DA). I did get the textures to show using 3Delight but I don't know if that is helpful or meaningful.
I tried to compare the settings between the original textures and the add ons but got distracted by another project (or five). But I'll get it figured out... or not. I'm persistent!
Until I'm not.
The original textures don't have a base color setting per se. They load with a map and render fine. I will grant that the actual texture looks a bit more beige than the render does, but look at my attached render. You can clearly see the pattern at the waist of the skirt.
@Richard Haseltine "It loads without materials,"
That's not the case for me. It loads with the base texture maps. See attached screenshot.
I definitely see the texture. Just no color. I believe the intended color is supposed to be around RGB 161, 143, 127 for the waist and skirt, 99, 61, 38 for the edge. Probably some variation.
I just think it should load with the advertised look the first time.
Thank you
@chaynawolfsmoon "I just think it should load with the advertised look the first time."
No argument there.
This is a first in my experience. Can't explain the behavior.
I have several of Shifting Images older products and they are top notch.
It is a beautiful item and the texture add-ons are wonderful. This dress is one of my favorite clothing purchases so far (despite the color fail). I have bigger disappointments in my Daz closet and probably will have future disappoints as well. :)
