Looking for a virtual "product photography studio"

Hi again everyone-

I have the need to create product renders; the products are typically small, being at most about 4 feet in the longest dimension. As the title suggests, I'm looking for a way to simulate a studio environment and/or lightbox (preferably both).

The environment will only be seen in product reflections, but HDRI capabilities would be great, too.

Any recommendations?

thanks,
Andrew

DOSCH DESIGNS has a few HDRI "interior" packages that are designed for exactly what you describe (not allowed to post links to other stores). I've bought from them in the past and they have quality products. One of their sets is specifically called "Studio Atmospheres" and it is the interiors of photography studios.

    Thanks Holly!

Wow, I remember Dosch from way back. Will take a look.

    Cheers

If you need an actual photographic studio, I have one here. Complete with cameras, lighting rigs, background, etc.

I think that PhilW's Carrara Portrait Studio would make for an excellent product studio. Set for more high-end renders in a studio environment - already set up for Carrara. Maclean's looks cool too.

I tend to render my stuff with a shadow catcher and composite with a color gradient or some other back ground in Photoshop. I have a couple spherical renders I use for reflections, plus some nice stuff from DimensionTheory if I want IBL. The color gradient also works well for reflected effects. Just pick your colors.
