First and most important question - where is the download link for Daz 4.10? I heard that scenes made in 4.10 will occasionally crash 4.11, but I read it after I installed 4.11 :(
Daz 4.11 has some unwanted changes that completely block my workflow (unless I'm an idiot and can't configure it properly)
First of all, what happened to smart content? Now, let's say I select Gen8 Female from smart content, double click it and instead of loading it into the scene, Daz wants to start a new scene and discard my current work. Is this new or I'm doing something wrong? I had no problems like that in 4.10. Same goes for poses. I select the Gen figure in Scene Tab, double click a pose from smart content and "Would you like to save your current scene before closing it?" Please help!
Second - Parameters Tab -> Transforms. Is it just me or moving objects on xyz axis with the slider has gotten extremely slow?
Another question, how to change default location for installed Daz assets? I mean the folder containing data, Runtime, etc... Daz just installed it on C drive and i'd like to change it.

I think they removed Daz 4.10 when they released 4.11, though you might still be able to access it on your computer. I had the issue with the "save scene" problem.
Ultimately, I think I ended up deleting the original problematic installed files from their folder, redownloading through DIM, and installing from inside Daz. Mine was trial and error, but there might be an easier way.
For download location of assets check settings and content paths? Or in DIM I think it's at the bottom of the screen. Not at my computer at the moment, so I can't check the exact location.

There is no lnk for downloading older versions. Where are you seeing the commplaints about older scenes? There was an issue with .daz files, beyond the general issue with some .daz files, but the release version resolved that.
This sounds like an issue with the CMS database, not an issue with 4.11 per se. Fixing it will be a matter of figuring out the cause of that, more information please - have you tried the troubleshooting steps in the knowledge base?
I've not seen this, or other reports of this.
Installing with Connect (inside DS) or Install Manager?

I have installed and re-installed 4.11 around 20 times now, both standalone and Install manager. I'm generally on the verge of giving up because i seriously don't have time to fiddle with this now. So, I wanted to install DAZ and Install manager with all default paths, but here's the problem.
I uninstalled Daz and DIM, cleared the registry in regedit, looked for env paths in windows 10 settings. Despite this, whenever i launch the Daz 4.11 install file again, it remembers the previous custom paths i've set, and I don't remember the default ones.
Not sure about the CMS, is loads fine, it sees every product installed from DIM, but if I click anything in smart content, it wants to start a new scene. Oddly enough, i can drag the content with mouse from smart content pane directly to the scene and it loads. But again, trying to load a pose or another actor/prop wants to open a new scene.
I attached screenshots of the paths from Daz and DIM, maybye this helps?
Daz and DIM are installed on C:/Program Files
Data folder for Daz content is set on other drive, to D:/DAZ_CONTENT.
DIM shows correctly the installed assets.
Ok, so I tried clicking "Yes" when daz asks "Would you like to save your current scene before closing it?". After clicking yes, it shows RESOURCE ERROR (see attachment). Funny thing is, it does exist in D:/DAZ_CONTENT/Runtime/People.... etc. I just don't understand why there is no drive letter in the resource error...
The paths look Ok. If you go to the products tab of Smart Content what icon, if any, is at top-right of the tumbnail for Genesis 8 Starter Essentials?
