I had just recently changed my Account Email. But now when I try to access my DIM, it won't let me log in because of the previously registered email. How do I fix this?

Can you add a new account?

Not really. My screenname is still the same which is stilled connected to the original email. I don't have any other DAZ 3D accounts besides this one.

You can set up a second account even though you are still using the same username.

Okay, that worked enough to make me able to re-access the DIM itself. But I still can't change the email on it because the username is still the same as the new email.

Close DIM and go to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts (your username rather than Public) and move those files and folders elsewhere, then you should be able to start DIM with no saved account information.

Oh, you set up a new account on the website -- you want to set up a new account in DIM. Click on the username at the top of the window in DIM, then use the pulldown on the Account filed and choose Add Account. Then you can create a "new" account with the new email address. Obviously the account you set up on the website won't have access to your order history.

Let us know when you've got it working and we can close the extra account on the website.

The first suggestion did the trick. Everything's good now. Thanks, Mike! :cheese:

Can you edit your thread title to add [Solved] so other people can see that there is a solution if they have the same problem. Thanks
