Custom Filters for DIM?

Does anyone know of / have any custom filters for DIM?

Things like "All Genesis Compatible," "Lights" or "Shaders."

Wondering if there might be a database or resource somewhere for things like this.

Edited since it doesn't apply anymore

Understood. And maybe filter wasn't a good choice of words since it has an actual function in DIM.

But if a database existed with this information, then it would be simple to export the information and then use a CSV file as the "filter."

Or if someone has already done the effort in DIM to subdivide their items, exporting that as a CSV would work as well.

You could put in a feature request. Just submit a ticket. Make sure you add feature request in the title

I would rather not. I already have enough open tickets with CS.

The last time I used that ticket system I was berated by some DAZ employee for not doing it the way he or she wanted. If I am going to work free of charge for DAZ, I would like to be treated with a little respect.

Thank you for that. I was initially skeptical but I see a lot of very useful information.

For example, that "file" scope selector could be used to locate Genesis items based on the directory the files end up in.

Using the "file" parameter actually worked to narrow down just the Genesis items:
    file::wc::*Genesis*

The only negative is that this filter will only work on Installed items. So it's not a pre-install filter.

My goal being to try and isolated all the items that are DS4.5 friendly.

So what I will probably do is install everything to one directory, then run the Genesis script to uninstall those items. Followed by similar scripts to isolate the other DS4.5 items.

Then reinstall all of these to another content directory.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to configure this filter so that it hides the ones with "Genesis" in it and leaves the non-Genesis items.

You should be able to put a negation in the filter. Or you could use the filter and then invert the selection.

It sounds like what you want is to install DS3-compatible items in one content folder and DS4.5 items in another? If you haven't downloaded yet you could use the download filters.
