Make arms stay in place during animation

I have an animation where a character is running on the spot. The arms need to stay at the exact place they are, or at least the lower arm.
So I've tried to lock the arms before appling the animation, but due to twists and turns of the upper body it still moves around somewhat.
Is there a way I can make it stay at the exact same place?

Are you using animated pose presets or aniblocks? Animate or timeline?
This is pretty much impossible to achieve with 100% accuracy and make it look natural, IMO:/
I'm using this https://www.daz3d.com/aniblock-high-heel-walk-for-genesis-8-female-s
Ironically it’s easy enough to do in Carrara and iClone but that is utterly no help to you
DAZ studio really needs tracking
Someone who uses animate may be able to provide some useful tips, hopefully;) I work in the timeline, so I would bake it to keyframes, delete the keys for collars down and redo those. Would take a lot of fiddling.
Agreed
Rumours say we will see some significant improvements with the next build, keeping finger crossed
