Can I use SFM models in DazStudio?

I use SFM quite often but I hate how limiting it is and I want to know if I could use SFM models in Daz because I'm sick of SFM.

Can you export the models as .obj or .fbx? I've never used SFM, but I'd be pretty surprised if it let you export the assets.
Source filmmaker is an extremely powerful realtime animation engine.
There are ways to get externally created models into SFM
and out, but it requires a special "decompiling" process and recompling it with a special blender add-on
I imagine from there you could export the mesh to Daz studio.
However you would have to rig it yourself if you needed it to be posed etc.

What do you use SFM for and what do you plan on using Daz3d for? making animations or making posters? if you used SFM for making animations then you might be a bit disappointed in the quality of Daz3d's animation tools. But if its just for posters then Daz3d might be good enough for you. What i would recommend though is just switching to Blender instead. A lot of people in the SFM 3d smut community have switched from SFM to Blender because of SFM's limitations. There is a discord for sfmlab/smutbase and some of the people on the discord also work at Blender.org
You can import SFM models into Blender and then export them to Daz Studio as OBJ files.
There's a tutorial on how to import SFM models to Blender but I can't post the URL here, Google is your friend.
I played around with turning the OBJ file from Blender into a Daz morph using Wrap but I could never figure out how to sort the eyes and mouth out. Another issue is the textures, a lot of SFM models are based on the Daz figure which is fine for the torso, arms & legs etc but the head will still be using the game texture so the UV will not not match the Daz head.
