HD Character morphs

Ive been recently getting back into Poser/Daz Studio scene. Previously I was strictly a Poser user but ive been trying to teach myself Daz Studio lately. 

I apologize if this question has been asked before. 

So I am very interested in the new Maia HD for Ellithia 8 but I do not have Ellithia and have no intention of getting her.  So my question is what happens if I do not have Ellithia?

Will I only be able to use the skin?

    The character will definitely look different. There is an Elithia thread. You might look for it. They were posting images of her so someone with her could post her with only the Genesis 8 base.

    Yes, when you get a character dependant on another character, you only get the additive shape, so without the base, it will look off. The textures, the HD details (including the custom genital) and fibermesh addons can be used normally without Ellithia 8.

    Shes still on my wishlist at the moment.  I will at some point grab her even if I dont have Ellithia,  I may at some point get her to but I have over spent this month....
