I had to upgrade to win 10 at home hex will not run took it to work and installed on the same OS and it works... what to do ????

    Instructions unclear, duck stuck in fridge.

     

    Hex works one Win10 without issue.

    re-install Hex on the home PC. Windows 10 has a bunch of shared files that hex no longer knows where they are do to registry setting on locations.

    My Win10 machine is set to Admin. Hex installed and runs just fine.

    Note that there's a difference between using an Admin account, and running a program (e.g. Hexagon or its installer) with the "Run As Admin" function. Some programs are known to act up with one or the other.

    Hexagon is profile-smart when it comes to installing. "Run as Admin" is a bandaid rather than a cure.
