New user, thinking about getting a Platinum account.
So I've got a project in mind, which means I've been relentlessly browsing the store aggressively building up a Wishlist of all the assets and poses and stuff I'll want to buy down the line. I also see that Daz offers a Platinum membership subscription, which could possibly save me money in the long run. My question is, how can I calculate beforehand what kind of discount I stand to get on my Wishlisted items? I want to be sure that I'm definitely going to save at least $70 before I buy an Annual membership.
Also, if I do buy an Annual membership, I want to avoid a situation where I forget about my subscription and accidentally pay an extra $70 next July. Can I cancel my subscription immediately after signing up, and get the discount through to mid-2020 without worrying about the renewal fee?

@mitchbandes, I started out by getting a quarterly membership. Long before it could expire, I renewed for another year. I've never let my membership lapse.
As a member, you have access to a Platinum Club page in your account where you can manage your payment options, set or remove recurring, view your subscription history, see the codes for your current monthly coupons, and if you've used them, see the date and transaction ID. (I don't know what you'll see if you follow the link. My first purchase included the membership, so I've never seen the page as a non-member!)
If you don't think you'll use a full year of membership, I recommend getting the quarterly. Then you only have to save $24 to break even, (which I doubt will take long,) and you can always renew later at the annual rate, if you decide you want to stay a member.
Things to keep in mind:
I hope this information is helpful.
Platinum Club membership will give you 30% off any product that is a Daz Original (Daz Original is listed as the Artist on the product page in the store). You can filter your wishlist to see which are Daz Originals and calculate your potential savings. There are also many very old products sold at a much lower price for Platinum Club members. There are also monthly coupons, but if you do not plan to spread your purchase out over a long time, you won't get much benefit from them. There are two $6 coupons each month, with restrictions on what they can be used for. If you bought a $24 quarterly subscription and managed to use the coupons, that would save you half of the membership cost ($12) in the first month. Over the quarter, you would recoup your membership cost just with the coupons. You can hardly go wrong.
basically you will save the most by buying the products that are listed as PC+.
There is a button on the store page that you can click to show you only the PC items. The PC icon is in purple
the second level of saving is the fact that you get 30% discount on Daz originals, these are the products the show the Daz logo Icon in blue
Thanks everyone, you were a great help!
If it's any help, I generally buy enough to make enough savings to match what I paid for my annual PC+ membership within a couple of months. This is made up of the two $6 coupons every month, the weekly and monthly freebies, the 30% DO discount, and I do usually buy at least one or two of the (usually four) new PC+ store items every week. It adds up. I'm too scared to work out what it adds up to over the 15+ years I've been here. Yeek...
Also, if you aren't in a hurry to start, you can save even more because every now and then the annual memberships have a special sale — the discount I see most often is 30% off, but it does occasionally go as high as 50% off. Keep an eye on the sale banners on the big rotating banner carousel on the store front page.
@mitchbandes, And there you go. A one day sale which includes the annual membership at 30% off…
You've really got good timing.
