Studio doesn't see 1080ti. Computer does. Resolved.

Just installed 1080ti. Computer sees it, if I plug a monitor in, it works fine. I'm using onboard graphics to drive the display, though, and the card for rendering only. Driver is 4.19.67, Win7, Studio 4.9.2.70
It shows up in the "Advanced" tab, but when it is checked and CPU isn't, attempts to render fail and the log file says "Cannot render: found no usable devices."
When I have both CPU and GeForce GTX 1080 Ti checked, it renders with the CPU only. Slowly.
Suggestions, please?

4.9 may be too old to support the 1080ti.
Visit here and check you have the most recent drivers:
https://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk
even if you do try to download the most recent version if possible.
As far as I recall the same happened to me and after reinstalling the GPU drivers all worked fine.
In any case, when everything is right do some test if your GPU works better by itself while rendering or along your CPU. for me GPU alone is faster than both together.
You may use the scene here:

Good luck
Thanks. I tried every driver on that list, oldest to newest, clean installs, and nothing worked. Rendered that scene, and as soon as it begins rendering, it stops with a black screen. Takes 2.34 seconds.
check the nvidia control panel. it should indicate that daz studio is set to use the 1080ti. if not change the setting.
4.9.2.70 is indeed too old, the first version of DS supporting Pascal cards was 4.9.3: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/1973031/#Comment_1973031
Where do I find the control panel? I have "Nvidia Settings", but it won't display anything because "You are not currently using a display attached to an Nvidia GPU."
Afterburner and Kombbustor both display information for the Intel on board graphics, (Which I'm using for the display) not the 1080 ti.
Well, damn. You're right. I just loaded up 4.9.3.166 and it rendered fine. Much faster than my 980ti, as well. I guess I have to give up my beloved 4.9.2.70 now.
The added speed of the newer makes it worth it over the faster workflow of the older. But I want both!
I suppose I can create in 2.70 and render in 4.10...
Thanks, Barbult, Leana. I owe you both.
