Figure creation: Maya to DAZ studio pipeline?

Hello,
So, for my professional work and asset creation, I've used Autodesk Maya for several years. Is there a good guide out there for taking a figure created in Maya and importing it cleanly and efficiently into DAZ Studio?
In particular, what I really want is advice on getting bones and rigging weights painted in Maya into DAZ Studio.

Bones and rigging are the sort of thing that almost never translates from one 3D program to another. Although... have you tried exporting as .fbx file format? The .fbx import in D|S can be a bit flaky, but it does seem to work for some people.
Hi, I don't know of a good guide from Maya to Daz3d, Most people go the other route and use Daz assets in Maya.
So, I am extremly curious why you would want to do this? Maya has Professional Animation Tools, Maya has Excellent rendering engines, VRay, Arnold and even IRay. I use a Plugin for Daz3d "DaztoMaya" and import and rig Daz figures with facial rigging and Maya blend Shapes. But it would never work the opposite direction because it rigs the daz asset as a full human IK Rig - which daz would have no idea what THAT is!
oh, cause I'm a PA and I'd like to make some products.
You will need to do your rigging in Daz Studio, sorry. You can sometimes get a basic rig to import in either .FBX or collada, but it is very hit or miss and not quality enough for a DS asset
