Reorder parameter in surface tab

Something reordered my parameters inside the surface tab. I only noticed it after I had already saved, so there's no going back.

Only one parameter in only one figure is affected. It's the Diffuse parameter. It used to be on the top of the list, but now it's near the bottom. How can I change the order so that it appears at the top again?

Sounds as if the path was changed - if so, click the gear icon on the slider>Parameter Settings and edit the Path (or just copy the value from a different item).

The path says "Diffuse", so if it has been changed, I don't know what it was before, since it's the Diffuse parameter anyway. What should I change it to? And will it still work as Diffuse after I change the path?

If it hasn't been chnaged from the versions that are correctly odered then that isn't the issue.

I can select the following paths:

Following
General
Opacity
Render Priority
Smoothing
UV Maps

Once I have selected one of them, there no longer is a Diffuse path in the list. I can switch freely between any of the others, but Diffuse never appears again.

Swtching to Following makes the parameter climb up a little, but still far down in the list. Switching to any other path keeps the Diffuse Color at the bottom of the parameters list.

I can manually type "Diffuse" in the path field, but that doesn't do much.

Renaming the Label doesn't do anything either.

 

EDIT: I just noticed that ALL the parameters belong to the General path. I will now try assigning them different paths and come back with the results.
