Keying Camera Properties and trouble with parented objects...

Not so much a newbie but more of a interim user, lately I have been trying to recreate one of my A.I. animations in Daz and have so far been good at setting things up.
However;
I want to create a first person blinking eyelids view and after a plethora of attempts and online videos, have run into a brick wall.
I want to key the camera so the lens closes up then slowly opens up, but have not found a way to do this. So, I created two planes, paranted them in fromt of the camera, but now when I move the camera which is parented to the head, they drift off into neverneverland and won't stay in place. On top of this, I want to make said items dissapear from view as the eyes fully open without tossing them out into deep limbo.
Can Daz key the elements for the camera, can disply setting be keyed, and can anyone help me solve the parenting problem?

Is anything scaled?
Not sure how scaleing would stop things, but the Camera is not, the two planes I created were. I'd like to mve the pivot points too but that seems to be non-capable as well. Think exporting this to Blender or Hexagon will help?
Sadly I found scaling and other parameters is affected parenting stuff in DAZ studio, it caused me much grief in animation, the only solution is to export obj of everything scaled and import and use those
Don't see the problem.
Created a camera, created two primitive planes and positioned them in front of the camera to mask the view, parented them to the camera, animated the camera and the planes to simulate an eye blink. Things are working as supposed to, so a bit more info on your setup would be required to find a solution;)
Yep, that was the problem. Unlike Blender where you can update Deltas and transforms, apparently Daz Studio is unable to do this thus the position problem.
Once I corrected this, blinds work correctly.
Also, was browsing through my animation tutorials and stumbled across the answer to my other issue. You have to go into AniMate 2 and key settings there.
Boy, talk about having a V8...
Well,
Spoke too soon about the keying thing. It appears Daz likes to forget things when you key, bake or save your scenes. Worse yet, KeyMat and AniMate2 will not keep what you have entered so I'm back to manually positioning and moving things areound to get the desired effects I want for my animated scenes.
Daz needs a better, easier way to import and add .fbx and .bvh animations to charactures too. It is teadious and complicated to say the lease.
Just say'n...
