blender modelling with symetry

Hi guys, I cannot find a solution for my problem. I can import genesis X character in blender to model, I keep vertex order etc and it looks fine. But when I start modelling, it only does one side. Is there any way I can do both sides symetrically? I've heard adding mirror modifier won't work so I have no idea what to do

    You can use X Mirror under Tools>Options. If the model is not perfectly symmetrical, you might try Topology Mirror.

    oh thanks, will check it out! what should I use to model my character? model or sculpt mode?

    If you are trying to make morphs that you can use in Studio, you can't use anything that can add geometry. You can use sculpting. Just no increasing the geometry.
