SOLVED:How to get Genesis, G2F,G2M,G3F,G3M back?

I did a CMS reset and re-imported metadata. I think that's when I lost my Genesis base figures. (G8F and G8M seem to be okay).

I uninstalled/reinstalled Studio. It didn't bring them back.

I suspect it's something to do with Connect?

How do I fix?

Added: I've updated metadata through connect. I tried to load a Genesis character and it showed me the files missing. I 'installed' Genesis essentials (which is not available in DIM) and get use my characters now...but MUST use Smart Content to get the base figure b/c still no base character/thumbnail in regular Content. Sigh.

These base characters are not in the Default Resources that comes with the Studio installation. I don't know why I have G8f and G8M in Content Library. Don't know how the others disappeared (no textures either).

    when you re import metadata he read all "DSX" files of all library found in "/runtime/support"

    >>> be sure you got your correct library path in "directory manager" <<<<

    note:
    i don't know why, in some case, it need twice re import metadata

    Cross posted. Thanks for responding.

    My library paths are correct. I'll check the 'support' folders to see if they're there.

    (I had a CMS pathing problem which I fixed. Thought it wise to reset and re-import. Perhaps I shouldn't have done the reset?)

    Checked My Library metadata....only Genesis 8 'essentials' is there.

    I'm beginning to think I never had Genesis, g2f, g2m, g3f, nor g3m installed on this machine. I started new with studio 4.10 and updated to 4.11 when it came out and have been busy installing and playing with mainly animals, environments, and genesis 8 stuff. I may never even have tried loading up a different generation character since installation.

    If this were the old machine they'd still be there. It looks like you don't get all the base characters anymore--you have to use Connect to get them. Bummer

    Richard? anyone? is this so?

    Not as far as I'm aware, I have them in my product library and they are downloadable either manually or via DIM.

    That's the problem...I don't get them in DIM.

    And I just figured it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It was the account name in DIM on this machine. It was just 'account' and not me though the password and email were correct.

    Fixed that and now I see the Essentials in DIM!!!

    Thanks for letting me know you get them.
