Fit to Mode Defaults

So awhile back I somehow changed the default for Fit to Mode from "Auto Follow Transforms" to "Redirect Transforms" and now every time I load any sort of wardrobe piece onto a figure it's always set to "Redirect Transforms". Now I have to go in manually for each piece and switch it to Auto Follow, I'll even change the parameter setting and change the default but it only does it for that figure.

Any way I can change it back to Auto Follow or do I just have to deal with it?

    As far as I know this is a setting in the file, though it is a relatively new (4.9?) addition so older content may just take a default (but I don't think that is user-configurable).

    What is the difference between the two, and when should a user choose one over the other?
