First movie ever saw him in was Lawrence of Arabia, seen many of his movies since then. It will be a great loss to the entertainment industry.

We don't have many great actors of his caliber in this generation. He will be missed.

    Greetings,
He will always be The Lion in Winter to me. It's one of my favorite movies of all time.

Henry II: I hope we never die.
    Eleanor: So do I.
Henry II: Do you think there's any chance of it?
    Exeunt...laughing uproariously.

One of the best movies I have ever seen is : Lawrence of Arabia and that only because of Peter O`Toole and sure, also because of Omar Sharif but Peter O`Tool gave that movie something great.

It is a shame that he never get an Oscar for his acting in one of his movies. For his acting in Lawrence of Arabia he had to get it I think.

Agreed. He held the record for the most acting nominations without a win. The competition was pretty stiff those years:

And let's not forget his hilarious role in What's New Pussycat?

On-topic tie-in: The movie poster was done by Frank Frazetta, who needs no introduction around here.
