I would really love if a product or two could come up to make Genesis 8 into lizard people... but please don't leave Genesis Female out this time! I really want to buy such a product! Both "Reptilian" products for Genesis and Genesis 2 were male only :(

I could only find some Cobra for Genesis 8 but this is not what I'm looking for. I'm thinking of the Argonians of Elder Scrolls, if anyone knows of them. I also saw the Creech product... definitely also not what I'm looking for.

How do you know it was male? Not entirely a silly a question - non-mammals may have very different differences between the sexes, if any.

  • Because it was for G2M ... this means I can't use female clothing on such a character (and have it look good!), and that would be the utility I want/need! (but still.. I actually do like to differentiate between the sexes even with lizard people.)

Now, I just need to show you the cinematics for Argonians in Elder Scrolls Online, cause look at them! They're just amazing!!

    from here until 15:30;

    From until 22:47 - 23:23,

And finally, (perhaps the best views): 31:54 - 32-11

Granted, they all look male here, but in the game there are clear differences between male and female Argonians.

I'd settle just for Iray textures for the original version...

This should work on most G2 characters: https://www.daz3d.com/iray-smart-converter-and-advanced-skin-managers-for-genesis-2

That's one of those products which unfortunately just confuses the heck out of me.

  • Yeah I'd love for a G8 female version (and by a female I mean sexy reptilian women with curves and such).

  • Yes, we need a female version to wear female clothes, and to have subtle differences from the male counterparts. In Argonians you can clearly make out who is male and who is female, and this is the race I want to make art of.

Here here, we need more lizard folk representation lol

A kick-ass cobra man would be difficult to make, but cool.

  • I'm really aiming for those Argonian shapes. Actually, I might know someone who can pull it off.... if he'd be willing...!

I've bought (but not yet installed) some of the G2 reptilians, and noted the absence of females. What I intended to do was to differentiate them by a variety of details, like color, morphs, ornaments, etc...As Richard Haseltine pointed out, what kind of male/female difference do you expect in reptilian creatures? Being reptiles, you can't really expect them to have boobs, for instance (yes, I know, there are reptilian creature models with boobs, including Elder's scroll Argonians, in fact. But as far as I'm concerned, it breaks my suspension of disbelief). There could be some form of genitals, but you can't expect that genitals will be provided for creatures when they aren't even for humans (and I suspect that reptiles genitals aren't even visible in normal time).

If something was to be included to differenciate males and females, I would hope for something...err...reptilian...like, say, a crest. And would fervently hope that it *wouldn't* be human/mammal characteristics like breasts or larger hips. So, as far as I'm concerned, please no argonian females. Then again, now that I acquired the G2 reptilians, I'm unlikely to buy new reptiles, for which I have little use, so I might not be the proper market target.

I accept that the OP is pursuing a specific universe and storyline, and that's fine. I agree with @odastein's logic. An image I did a long while back I used size and mass to differenciate. The females lacked bulging muscles and were smaller in height. Though, I believe that the reverse is true IRL; female reptiles are larger than the males.

  • hi  well   i did ask this  for the female  dragkon  theres post on it , i was  directed to deviant art were there was transgender morgh  found  easy to use  so  managed to  use  for that    so me be theres somthing like that  see if can post  what mine looks like  if can

A one click converter that can fit clothes around a tail is impossible.

First, you’d need to edit the mesh in an automatic way that looks appropriate. That’s not really possible.

Second, you’d need a system that automatically managed rigging so the clothes move properly around a tail. That’s not possible.

Mind you, some clothes might drape right over a tail, like skirts.

  • My guess is, something like that -- having an arbitrary garment that adapts routinely to a tail as it moves -- would have to wait until machines are beafy enough and advanced enough to do much more cloth-physics stuff routinely in general scenes instead of as a special action invoked onto the scene.

Personally, I can see both sides of the argument for breasts and no breasts on a female reptilian as valid,  If someone ends up making a female lizardfolk character, I'd be in favor of the character having breasts, but also a secondary morph that makes them flat-chested.  I know there are flat-chest morphs out there for G8F, but they're known to sometimes cause distortion on certain characters, and I feel it would be better to be safe than sorry.  If the female lizardfolk was paired with a matching male character, I'd also be in favor of giving them some sort of reptilian dimorphism, such as a dewlap on the male, or if both have a dewlap, a larger dewlap on the male.  I'd also like to note that even when I make lizardfolk women flat-chested, I'm a strong advocate of still giving them a more traditionally "feminine" torso shape, with waist narrower than the hips and such.

As for tail clothing fits, I'd be happy with an outfit or two designed for use with the tail, sort of like how the G8F Catgirl has a skirt that works with its tail, and/or a morph or two that adjusts tail height so that it can hang over most pants or under most skirts that are wide enough to drape over a tail.  I would think that would be within the realms of possibility.

I’ve been considering a reptilian figure for ages. Oolong was vaguely inspired (but I jumped in a more alien direction)

I keep amusing myself with the idea of doing the female figure as much larger, muscular, and horned/fanged than the males.

Because apparently I’m very allergic to money.

Nice to see that some of you have realized that reptiles lay eggs and therefore do not breastfeed ..... talking about female actors, if you get my point. ;-) Making them flat-chested ist however pretty easy to do, even without a special option. I confirm, female reptiles are larger than males. I like the idea of the larger, muscular, and horned/fanged female! **** the money!
