just noticed one of the new products - which has two add ons, either one or both creators maybe either British or Aussie because the steering wheel is on the right, which really seems to upset the americans here remember there was a muscle car poor guy copped flack for that.Looking through vehicles to see if that was still there saw another one of a three wheeler with the steering on the right in the promo but looking through it guess that one took notice of the other cause this one has the option to have it on the right or left. Side night the main animal creator here isn't Aussie but he loves our wildlife he told me. There are quite a lot of Aussies here either just artists or are content creators keep forgetting which ones but does make one proud to know there are a few

Do you mean the British Farm Pickup

    https://www.daz3d.com/british-farm-pickup

I could be wrong but I believe 1 of the partnership is British, hence why they have several items in their store that are English based, the double decker the Northern terrace etc. Personally I would like to see a lot more right hand drive vehicles, and British European based content.

They're both from the UK :)

I did wonder but wasn't sure.

There would probably be more Australian vendors, but we have a high mortality rate due to all the deadly native wildlife. Them dropbears especially

We don't have dropbears here, just roos, emus, pigs and the Pilliga Princess.

didnt you have a kangaroo to ride home from school? you can outrun the bunyips

Very true, but the kangaroos were always in great demand at home time from school in those days. If you didn't manage to get one, we then had the emus to contend with, at least out west we did. Ever since winning the Great Emu War (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emu_War), those emus tended to bully kids wandering past on the way home.

Edit : This is perhaps a better explanation of how the Emus won the war of 1932... http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2014/01/great-emu-war-1932/

O.k. I just have to ask. Who is the „Pilliga Princess“?

I don't vend here (in the Daz store) but I do live in Oz at the mo (originally from UK then 15 years in China) - in the beautiful Top-End. We don't worry about sharks up here ... the crocs ate them all laugh

on a side note our $ has gotten worse I think, usually say bought something around $60 on average I'd work out it'd be another $20 added roughly but today bought 3 items total of $21.03 US in Australian it was $31.39

  • What about the min min lights they were creepy the first time I saw them Lol!

I'll admit, that was something that hit me hard when I went back home to Oz for a few years. After living in Europe and getting a decent exchange rate with the € to USD, going back to the Aussie dollar seriously hurt my Daz addiction. I know, 1st world problems and all that, but it helped wean me off buying something every day just for the sake of it.

Yeah I am very glad as well, interestingly here in South Australia we have been good in keeping the numbers down, and when I go shopping you would not know that there was any problem..

down here in Tasmania we're even luckier being an island cut off from the mainland though it can still get us been a few snuck in breaking the rules

he may not be Aussie but he loves our country and animals that's why Alessandro_AM has done several of our critters

I wish I could live in Tasmania

Adelaide is too dry and hot in summer

  • it's cold at moment here and in Tas we can have as they say all 4 seasons in one day

for a long time I thought I was very few Aussies that use daz so it is really nice to know there are others and if even more so that there are even some Aussie content creators here keep saying one day I'll have to try and make something. Poses seem to be the easiest thing to create and sell to break into the market though I'd like to one day make actual things think many can guess what even if they were static props
