Generation 3 figure morphs?

Howdy folks!
Out of sheer perversity and contrariness I've taken an interest in the Generation 3 figures and accessories that I collected a while back. There is something interesting about those figures to me and I've been wanting to experiment with them. Unfortunately I'm missing a couple of key items, like the Michael 3 Morph Pack and the Aiko 3 Morphing Fantasy Dress for examples, and it seems as if the add-ons for these older figures have disappeared from the store.
My questions are: Where can I go to get the Generation 3 items that have disappeared from the regular store? Can I contact DAZ support and purchase through them or something like that, or are they just gone forever? Were these items removed from the store because they are no longer compatible with the latest version of DAZ Studio?
Any info would be much appreciated!

Those items were Daz Originals, so if they're not in the store anymore you won't find them anywhere else.
I don't really see any reason they removed those from the store beside "they were for very old figures". They definitely still work in current version of DS.
You can always try contacting Daz support to ask if Daz would put them back in store, but there's no guarantee. It's worth asking though.
The morph sets for Luke and Laura the Mil-3 teens were removed from store some years ago (way before I came to Daz end of 2016) and despite several campaigns to bring them back, they are still unavailable (the teens themselves can still be bought though).
If this is part of the same retirement process....
I still use V3/M3 ocassionally, it's always fun to see how much you've learnt about tweaking skin surfaces by trying a realistic render with older figures. They are also great skin surfaces to learn on, much less complicated than the later figures - I started tweaking the Mil-3 surfaces, moved up to the Gen-4s and am currently familiarising myself with the Genesis - nice easy steps following the gradual increased complexity rather than sitting down in front of the latest and having my brain overheat.
It'd be a shame drop half the flexibility given by the morph packs.
These old figures load in a snap, and fit nicely in scene backgrounds. Aiko3 still makes a great robot.
Yes, this is one of the things I've been contemplating - Generation 3 figures, even fully clothed and with conforming hair, use up miniscule amounts of CPU, so you can put a lot of them into a scene!
The only reason Generation 3 use less resources is because their maps are smaller, and they tend to have less of them. They actually have more polygons that the Genesis models. If you reduced the Genesis maps to the same quality as the Generation 3 ones, then there would be no difference in resources used.
That makes sense, but I don't think it's merely the texture load difference. If it were the only reason, one should be able to fit more G2 and G3 (in Gen-4 textures) than Gen-4, which isn't the result I usually get.
Possibly code maturity has a little to do with it, along with other factors.
Yeah, I've only gotten into 3D art about 3 years ago so I missed a TON of content that was released over the years. I've been "collecting" the Generation 3 stuff myself (particularly A3 content), and find it sad that quite a bit of the content seems to be gone forever. So I try and get what I can now of the A3 stuff, everything does get phased out eventually though, sadly. :( I do find myself fascinated with the older content and some of it can look really good when you polish it up with some new Iray settings and adjustments. They won't pose as well or look quite as good as the newer figures, but I guess that can also be a bit of their "charm". lol Quarky and unruly bends and all.
There are several items on my "would love to have list" that seem to be gone forever. One of them is the Aiko Toon product from 3DUniverse that is no longer available. And figures like BelBel and NearMe seem to be gone forever as well. Sad to see stuff just disappear into the void never to be able to be obtained again. But I guess that's just how everything goes. Everything gets phased out eventually. That could also be part of the appeal of collecting the older figures as well - like collecting "antiques" or stuff from the 80's. It's the knowing that they're no longer distributed that makes them more precious. :)
Divamakeup, you might find this of interest What happened to Aiko Toon for Aiko3?
Oh thank you! I had commented a couple times in that thread but didn't know there was a kind of "solution" offered. Nice. :) Thank you for the heads up!
The little NearMe figure isn't entirely gone (you can even buy the figure from eFrontier). Oh... and you can adapt it to a Genesis (1, 2, 3, 8) body, no sweat.
