texture issue

hey, I have been using Daz for a while. I just started using the Gen2 /Victoria 6. Does anyone else notice any issues with the textures when they load? I'm sure I can tweak around in Surfacing, but I never had to in the past on the older models. Here's a grab. Victoria 6 with Belle skin at 50 SS, with a Gen 2, Nyssa face.

Are the face and the skin from different texture sets? Because no, that's not going to work in general.
yes, the overall skin is the Belle skin that comes with the V6, and the face is Silver/ Nyssa, which also came with V6, but not from the same set. so if I want a particular face make up or something, I have to use the entire set? I don't even think that face has a full body skin.. it's just a make-up face. So if I want a figure's face made up a certain way I should just photoshop a file copy in the same set?

Yep. ForbiddenWhispers sells some just-makeup psd files to help with that as well, IIRC.
Nyssa has a Mat Def which applies the full default mat. . . You then can load any of the makeup or lip options on top of that.
