Changing my Avatar is not working.

Time and again, I have tried to change my Avatar. I remove it, then upload a different one and no matter what, it always ends up being the same one! I log in, log back in, nothing changes.

So, how can I change my Avatar?

    What file format are you trying to use?

    Have you done a forced refresh - ctrl-F5 in many Windows browsers? Often the forum doesn't seem to tag updated files with the same name as needing redownloading. Changing format - from jpg to png or vice versa - is another way to force a refresh.

    Tried the Ctrl-F5 but it didn't work. Changing my Avatar to PNG did the trick. Thanks, Richard.

    I had this problem once. The solution was to go to bed, and when I woke up 8 hours later, it was fixed!

    That's right actually, though for me it took about 3 days!

    I changed it to the one there is now, but had the same problem. Then I assumed it hadn't worked and forgot about it. I was making posts a few days later and it suddenly changed. I guess the system gets a bit laggy from time to time.
