Pabu by Thorne - Head Shape

Hi, I hope someone can help me with this query: Created in Poser Pro 2014 with Victoria 4.2, Morphs++. Aiko 4 - Pabu Head Inj

Does Pabu's head look the correct shape?

I've compared it with other people's artwork and my rendered version appears to appear fatter whilst other Pabu's seem to have a slimmer head appearance.

I hope this makes sense and if it does perhaps someone can advise me where I am going wrong? All replies will be gratefully received.

Thank you.

What happens if you load A4 directly from the Poser library and then inject the Pabu head morph? Is there any difference?

Also, heads without hair can appear larger than heads with hair. If you apply a hair style similar to one of the promo's, does the render look similar?

    Thank you for your suggestions:

I loaded A4 as you suggested and then injected Pabu head morph, rendered with and without hair and they look exactly the same we the original photo I attached.

Cannot figure this out, I am going to try DAZ Studio to see if there are any differences.

Perhaps I'm just being too pernickety that's the way I am %-P

Anyway, here's my Poser/DAZ comparison, both = V4++ Aiko - I still think the DAZ Pabu is slimmer than the Poser Pabu :red: What do you think?

Got to admit, this Poser render looks slimmer than the last one so I guess I'll make do :-)

You can always use slim the head a bit using the parameters dials if you still think it's too wide.

Either PM Thorne here or try over at Faerie Wylde. Maybe he can give you some tips or an idea what to do.

Have you tried increasing the focal width of the camera since it is a portrait shot?

why do you think you get the same result with two different renderengines ?

Don't know what "pernickety" is, but to be honest, I think you have an extreme case of it. Those two renders have only the slightest differences, and you have to look VERY hard to see it.

And to me it looks like it's down more to the differences in the camera between the two apps than anything else...

I agree with others who have mentioned the cameras. The DS render seems to have a different perspective (focal length) than the Poser render.

Thank you, it certainly appears that this is the case :)
