G8F distorted poses

Don't know what's happening here. In need of ideas. The G8F models can't pose without massive distorting of the mesh. It seems like all the bones are off. I tried uninstalling G8F basic essentials and reinstalling. I tried adjusting the bones to shape.
I have this message thing sometimes, which says: "duplicate in formulas found in files. Make sure the content is properly installed."
It usually doesn't affect anything. Might the reason? dunno, I got brain injury it seems.
Any hint?
Thx

Have you added any characters or shape sets with very far from default shapes since the figure was posing correctly? This si almost certainly an add-on with a correction that is meant to kick in when the add-on sahpe is set, but it is in fact kicking in always.
So this is the basic G8F without any morph on. Just loaded it and bent right tight -90
Yes, which is almost certainly what i said - a correction for posing when a shape isa plied is kicking in even when the shape isn't applied.
O right. You got it. I just did not understand the way you put it at first. Thanks a lot. It was some corrective morphs that were hidden. Why the hell would those load on a new figure? Damn I sock at this.
The path is: Hidden/Correctives/Base And this an example of one that kicks in: pJCMThighFwd_115_L
Now, this is only for bending the tight. How can I fix this from happening?
On a side note, I feel I don't know shit about the mechanics behind all this. My knowledge is very surface level on this program and it impairs a lot of my development as a hobbyist. Do you have any recommendations on where I should go to learn more in-depth about how Daz works? So I stop bothering you good folks with my newbie's questions.
These are joint-controlled morphs or morph controlled morphs - neither is set by the end user, joint-controlled morphs (JCMs) are triggered when certain bends (in this case the left thigh forward) are in effect, givng a more natural shape. Sometimes a shape that adds or removes a lot of bulk to the figure will need further refinement and that will use a morph that is zero unless both the bend (or the JCM) and the shape are non-zero. it's a very useful feature, but sometimes the setting up is off and you see undesirable effects (as here).
pJCMThighFwd_115_L sounds like a desired change - it's fixing the leg shape as the thight bends - are you sure there isn't another morph coming on? It may be that the other is (correctly) tied to pJCMThighFwd_115_L, so zeroing that removes the distortion, but not, as it should be, tied to shape it is correcting for.
Those are all that triggers when I bend the leg. pJCMBGMGluteSmoothThighsBend90 and pJCMBGMLegBendHipCorrectL are really the ones that distort the figure.
On the first screen capture, however, there are the "leg side" morphs at 0% with a weird path to some G3F pose... Idk what's up with that.
pJCMBGMLegBendHipCorrectL looks like https://www.daz3d.com/big-girl-morphs-for-genesis-8-female , which did have an issue like that. I thought it had been fixed, though.
Ok so I reinstalled the product and guess what, it's fixed. thanks again.
Any suggestion on literature or anything that could improve my knowledge of the mechanics behind Daz3d? I'm too stoopid to get the hang of it all by my self. Yes? no? I keep bothering you Richard? ok
I'm not sure here, it's tuff that is going to be covered in tutorials on clothing creation or character design but it's only an aspect of those (fairly late on in the process). I'm not sure what there is that covers these things in an introdcution to concepts way.
