Will computers without a Nvidia GPU be able to run the new version of Iray?

    You can use Iray in CPU mode, it's just much slower.

    Yes, I use it. It is slower without an nVidia card true but it is faster than earlier versions of DAZ Studio on my same computer

    I've been using it and still require it with my GPU for some of the bigger stuff. As it was said it will be slower but the quality is identical. FWIW it does seem a lot faster than LuxRender if you ever used that, but it does have some disadvantages, you can't render outside DS. If you adjust your exposure it starts rendering all over. you cant stop a render, leave the session and render later, but surfaces wise it has far more control and less overhead to tweak because you're tweaking inside studio.
