    Coincidence? Not necessarily wink

These look awesome. One point, when preparing to corner, the pistol should be pointed down not up. This decreases the chances that an unknown someone right around the corner will not press the pistol up into your face, perhaps causing you to stress fire a round into your own face. My 2 cents.

Thank you, and that is good point. It also prooves the reasoning why I decided to go by the style commonly seen in movies and TV, and not attempt truly realistic poses: I simply don't have enough knowledge of tactical movement/shooting/combat in general, and after a (rather quick) search of references, I found it seemingly difficult to find good references, other than plain range shooting. smiley

Then again, the TV, movie way usually looks cooler, LOL

Very true! Although, there are exceptions, like John Wick (IMO).

By and large, if you have expert or near-expert knowledge of any subject, you will not be happy with the way it is portrayed in movies.

    Or TV.

My wife has a law background and when she sees stuff on TV it's hard for her to avoid outbursts. 'You can't do that!'

Although Better Call Saul did well in this respect... she'd comment about how you can't do X as a lawyer... and then someone would point that out on screen. Oh hey.

I did not mean any disrespect and movies do a much better job now than they did when I was a kid (no more horns on Viking helmets and plate armor being used in the 9th century). I was offering advice based on training/experience that I have had. I think these look great.

Yes, some productions actually use proper trainers for the actors nowadays, but there are still plenty of pretty cringeworthy performances... Generally historical movies, while they've improved a lot (the plate armor on a Viking in the 13th Warrior was pretty shocking), they still have a long way to go, IMO. The Outlaw king was really refreshing for its authencity. While it wasn't 100% accurate either, it was still much better than anything else I've seen so far.

What comes to tactical weapon handling, movement etc., I do have some understanding for it, but I'm not by any means an expert. Therefore any tips, advices and proper info is more than welcome! I've been thinking for some time to do a set of proper tactical combat poses, but I really need to take some time for research before that.
