Convert gen3 material skin to genesis 1 figures

Is it possible to convert gen3 material skin to genesis 1 figures? If so, how? 

I'm working on a graphic novel and figured out a major breakthrough with Daz3d and my post work process.  I'd like to put the genesis 3 toon generations skin on my original genesis characters because it looks better in the process I'm following.  I'm starting again and most of my money and character creation time has been invested in the original genesis figure.  If anyone can offer advice I'd be very appreciative.
